Satan. Lucifer, Beelzebub, Abaddon: whatever he is called, the Devil means different things to different people. For some he is real, for others, he is merely a personification of evil. Many people deny the existence of the devil even though they profess to believe in God. Some say he is the source of evil, while others think blaming the Devil for the evil deeds of men is just an excuse.
The devil has been caricaturized to such an extent in popular culture that he is no longer taken seriously. Featuring and eclectic collection of new and previously published stories, and inspired by C.S.Lewis’ masterful work, The Screwtape Letters, The Devil Wears a Dressing Gown is an revelation of, and an examination of, the many faces of evil.
